Practice Closure Afternoon: Thursday 20th February 2025

The monthly training session is important for all practices as it gives us the opportunity to have well attended team meetings, for the team to spend quality time with colleagues; whilst refreshing skills or learning something new. Finding time during the working day can be very difficult due to patient care requirements, part-time staff and their working patterns. All staff have to undergo statutory and mandatory training on a regular basis and to be able to demonstrate continuous professional development is a requirement for re-validation for all clinical staff. The training afternoons are led by either our ICB (commissioner), PCN (primary care network) or the practice. The majority of practices in England will be benefiting from this protected learning time.
